This Friday, I’ll be speaking at the IGDA-Austin Microtalks. In my copious spare time, I have been writing and rewriting my slides and notes to try to cram as much value into 10 minutes as humanly possible. The topic is a sort of mashup between a commentary on the failure of retail and why social games are an inherently superior production methodology, and how our studio has changed in a practical sense simply by building this kind of game. It’s a lot to cover in 10 minutes, but I’ve got it down to 11.5 minutes, and still shaving!
